BBC Scotland poll of Scottish MPs views on Trident replacement
A survey by BBC Scotland showed that a majority of Scottish MPs were opposed to the plans to replace Trident as presented in the White Paper.
25 MPs were definitely against and a further 5 were probably against.
Only 7 of those surveyed were definitely in favour, although it is assumed that 12 in the Government would also back the plan.

(1) The payroll vote consists of 12 Scottish Labour MPs who are members of the UK government. They were not surveyed but are obliged to support the Government
(2) Among the Liberal Democrats definitely against was Liberal Democrat leader Menzies Campbell.
