Gordon Brown MP

Labour

In favour of upgrading or replacing Trident
If you are a constituent then please email  Gordon Brown
- say what you think about the Government's plans for nuclear weapons in Scotland. If you include your postal address then you should get a reply.
Views on nuclear weapons:

On 14 March 2007 voted for the Government motion which called for the renewal of Trident

Said Britian should retain nuclear weapons in a speech at the Mansion House in June 2006. This was intended to signal that he supported replacing Trident.

Mr Brown did not respond to the letter from Church, Council and Union leaders.

The Prime Minister is a keen advocate of replacing and/or upgrading Trident.
