Views on nuclear weapons:

On 14 March 2007 voted for the Government motion which called for the renewal of Trident

Replied to survey in November 2006 saying he was opposed to replacing Trident and said "There is no doubt that the strength of feeling exists with the replacement of Trident, and at this stage I tend to be opposed since there has been no argument presented to indicate why we haven't taken advantage of the supposed peace dividend. I cannot see the logic in the present political climate and with golbal terroism replacing state terrorism"

Replied to survey in June 2005 saying that he was opposed to replacing Trident

Supported EDM 2703 calling for a debate before their is a decision on Trident Replacement and EDMs 1113 and 1197 calling for a debate.
