Views on nuclear weapons:

Replied to survey in November 2006 saying she is opposed to 6the upgrading or raplacing of Trident and said "Scotland does not want a new Trident replacement. The world does not need it."

Replied to survey in June 2005 saying she was opposed to Trident replacement and said "Scotland should not allow itself to be the base for weapons of mass destuction – son of Trident is morally wrong and operationally unjustifiable. I want a Scotland which builds for peace not builds for war”."
