VOTE OUT TRIDENT - 2010
Let the election candidates know what you think about nuclear weapons.
2010 is a critical year for the campaign to rid the world of nuclear weapons. The main issue in the Election will be the need to cut public spending. Community projects and jobs across the country will be at risk. At the same time the current Government are planning to spend £75 billion on a new nuclear weapon system. Tell the candidates that it is time to stop wasting money on Weapons of Mass Destruction that we don't need, can't afford, and which make the world more dangerous.
In May 2010 representatives of Governments from around the world will gather in New York for the nuclear Non Proliferation Treaty (NPT) conference. We cannot expect to halt the danger of the spread of nuclear weapons technology if Britain orders a replacement for Trident.
